Tier 1 Health & Wellness offers state-of-the-art screening, diagnosis, and interventional solutions for prostate care. Research shows that the traditional screening method for suspected prostate cancer — the transrectal ultrasound-guided (TRUS) biopsy — misses 30-35 percent of prostate cancer, while MRI-guided biopsies miss only 3 percent of tumors that are Gleason score 7 or above. At Tier 1, we use diagnostic MRI as an option for detecting and pinpointing the location of prostate cancer for men with abnormal PSA levels.
