to the prevention of chronic diseases as well as improving physical, mental, and sexual health throughout the aging process. The pair has grown and expanded their evidence based practice into an elite
cutting edge preventive medicine facility providing services for patients
from all over the United States and abroad.

Biography

Angie earned an Associate of Applied Science in nursing from Motlow State Community College and graduated with Honors with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. Angie has received extensive training in the areas of health and wellness, nutrition, fitness. She has been a practicing registered nurse for more than 25 years as a school nurse and has received extensive training in preventive medicine.

In 2015, Angie became a member of an elite group of practitioners certified in Advanced Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy through Worldlink Medical. a member of a group of practitioners certified in advanced bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She has attended lectures at many educational seminars regarding the various benefits of bioidentical hormone therapy. Although educating and assisting men and women for over a decade on their journey toward hormone optimization, Angie has gained gained recognition among other specialists in the field as an informed practitioner on the topic of hormone optimization for pre-, peri-, and post-menopausal women. She has a special interest in polycystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS, the most common yet underdiagnosed endocrine disorder of reproductive-age women.

Angie shares Dr. Nichols’ passion for preventive medicine, and together they created Tier 1 Health and Wellness over a decade ago operating out of a spare exam room within Dr. Nichols’ spine and sports practice. With a commitment to the prevention of chronic diseases as well as maximizing health and vitality through bioidentical hormone replacement therapy when clinically indicated. The pair has grown and expanded their practice into a preventive medicine facility providing services for patients from all over the United States and abroad.

Angie is an active community volunteer and enjoys promoting health and wellness in the areas where she lives especially in the area of addiction. She has taught community CPR/health safety and first aid classes for the American Red Cross, worked to develop fitness and nutrition programs to benefit students, and has been actively involved in youth athletics for many years. Angie is a certified interscholastic high school coach through the National Federation of High School Coaches.

 

The Nichols have six children collectively and reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with their youngest daughter. They enjoy the multitude of outdoor activities that the area provides.
